Just a 2days more and I'll be leaving for brunei. A lot (and I really mean a lot...) of rules and regulation that must be followed from dress code to the do's and don'ts before and upon landing. Regimental they say... Hahaha..

I seriously hope that everything would be alright while I'm gone but I guess there's nothing much to really think about as I'll be gone for only 3 weeks. But still I'm going to miss my family and friends. That is for sure. Oh yeah, the new pixeled uniforms had already been issused and I'll start wearing it after the trip from brunei.

(weee..... like a kid) and yeah, i'm sad to leave behind my family and friends for the next 3weeks. I hope everything would be alright when I return at the end of may.
Till then, take care everyone..

Just a quick update, I'm getting very busy with work and more work day by day. Wonder when will I get my off day. Attachment to other camps and outfield has become a routine for me. Damn!! How I wish I could just fast-forward to day I end my national service.. Chill, there's still a year and 2 months to go. Till then, if you drink don't drive. If you drive then may the steering wheel be with you. I know, its crap. =P

After 4 months being out with an injury, here I am trying to stage my comeback.
The pain that i went through, the surgery and also rehabilitation only i know what it feels like.
Hahahahaha... Yeah, as if i really got injured. Seriously have been busy for the past 4 months.. with what else??? National service, serving my time as transport operator at SAFTI MI better known as Officer Cadets School(OCS).
After passing my driving test on my frist attempt, that was 7th January 2009. Had to go through another training/familiarsation with 2 more vehicles. The 5-tonner and OUV. 5-tonner is the really big army truck that we commonly see on the road nowdays and OUV is like an SUV and both vehicles are auto-transmisson vehicle which is relatively easy to drive. Finally passing out from driving course on the 2nd February 2009, and returning back to my unit that's where my real NS life starts.
Been so busy, that i spent most of days in the jungle, at training areas and etc... not coming back home, weekends burned has become norm to me. So, I really cherished the times when I get the chance to go back home and spend time with my family. Not only that, I haven't been meeting my bestfriends for months only until recently and that was 23rd March 2009 when my former manager had house warming. Although the meeting with them was only for a few hours, I really enjoyed myself. I hope to meet up with them again soon before going for my overseas trip. Hehehe..
Speaking of which, I'll be going for my first overseas trip in May.. Destination Brunei for a minimum of 3weeks, maximum 6weeks.. Alright, at least I know that I won't be cautious when it comes to food and I know that there's no night life over there. So yeah, I hope that it'll be a trip to remember. I'm looking forward to it. Seriously.. =)
Till then, I hope to able to update my blog on regular basis, understand understood... NS life is a really busy life. Who says it's easy being a driver? Hahahaha...

Landrover's done with and its time to move on to driving the 3ton IVECO truck. The first time driving that thing sure is weird. The gearbox arrangement, all those switches, the air-powered brakes. Its harder to control and all the turning points is not the same as landrover. The good thing about this truck is that, it definitely has power in it.
After being scolded by my instructor a lot of times for doing silly mistakes, we finally had a talk last week. Realising he's fierce and his vulgarities are too much, he decided to relax with us a little. That's when my driving gets better. Only 3 lessons left to TP and yeah had to clear my assessment first in order to take. The first tp is in 2weeks, if i managed to pass I'll be given off till the next training, MAN truck at mandai.
Till then, I'll leave thru day by day at kaki bukit centre just enjoy the time there.

A week had passed since my drivning course started and its going fine except the driving part. Getting pressured by my instructor to drive perfectly(i don't know how perfect he wants my driving to be). Other than that, my group is really a fun bunch to be with. Getting to know drivers from other units and meeting all kinds of people is sure cool. Just passed my highway code and looking forward to driving on public.

I seriously wanna pass TP test on my first try in order to be awarded with a week off. But thats still long way to go. 32 more days to end of class 4 course. For now, I'll go with the flow of this course and hope to make it out alive.

For some reason, I'm beginning to miss my working days at McDonalds/McCafe. Hahahaha...
Although the pay wasn't that good and I had to do a lot of work(and I seriously mean a lot), but I definitely enjoyed my time there. The bond, spirit of togetherness, fun and laughter(everytime working with Fadhil) I should say was there. No matter what kind of problem I faced during that time, being there with the beanies was really memorable.
I miss making Frapees', sandwiches, coffee, steaming the milk, arrange the storeroom.... and everything else that is associated with Mac.
I just can't wait for January to come when I'll definitely go back there to work temporarily during the CNY period. Till then, I'll just look back at my days at Mac with big smile on my face.
Oh yeah, congrats to Fadhil on his promotion to shift leader. You deserve it bro. Hehehe..
